We will be traveling to OC on the 18 of this month. From what I have seen reviewed and heard from others the best route to take would be 71 north to 76 east(Pennsylvania turnpike). From there I have no idea what route to take. We are also staying on 29th street. so Would coming in 50 east or 90 east be better for getting closer to 29th street?

76 to 70E to 29S to 100 (left exit) to 97S to 50E. As for 50 or 90, pay attention traffic signs/alerts. Both are the same for you. Drive safe and enjoy!

Thank you Ken :) And would 100 be east or south? About how long taking this route to OC?

I live in Johnstown Pa , SE of Pittsburgh. We've been using this route for nearly 30 years and it avoids a lot of the beltway, etc. around Baltimore/DC.
For you, take the PA turnpike (76) to Breezewood and exit onto Rte 70. Take 70 to exit 80 Sykesville (rte 32) east or south (can't remember) to Annapolis, then 97 (very short) to Rte 50 into Ocean City. When you get to Salisbury Md (about 30 miles from OC) take the Salisbury bypass (left lane) around the town rather than the business route. When you get close to OC you'll have the option of taking 90 or 50 into town. 90 brings you into Ocean City at 61st St. (midtown), and 50 brings you into downtown or the most southern end of town. You have a choice which way you want to come into town. Hope that helps you.

100 East. 32 is ok but has traffic lights. Z brings up a good point about the bypass in Salisbury. Don't miss the exit to get back on 50 though.
