We will be coming to OC October 8,9, 10 and 11th. We are staying at the Flagship which is on 26th street, my question is where do we park when we want to go to the lower end of the Boardwalk, to visit the Pier Rides etc. It is my understanding that the inlet parking lpt is where the main event for the cruzin is being held. The Boardwalk Tram will not be running in October so that is out of the question and there is about 6 of us traveling together, one is a 2 yr old. Can someone suggest parking for us please?

There are other municipal (metered) lots in the downtown area, plus the street parking. We've been there during Cruisin' & didn't really have difficulty finding parking. Also, consider taking the bus. Take a drive around the downtown area to check out where parking is available before making a trip that requires you to park. Also, try to plan your time on the boardwalk when the downtown area isn't so busy.

If you go down to about 5th St. or where the CVS Pharmacy is and turn right off of Coastal Highway.......go back 1 block and turn left. All of the streets in that direction are unmetered and free. You'll have a couple blocks to walk to the boardwalk, but it's a pleasant walk and only takes about 4 minutes. There won't be any pier or inlet rides open, but Trimper's indoor rides for your toddler will be open and they're for children that age. And like previously mentioned, the bus runs 24/7 and is only $3 per person for a 24 hour pass. You must have exact change.
