Get ready to groove! Join author Mark Millikin for a nostalgic journey back to the Ocean City of the 1960s. He’ll be at the brand new Museum of Ocean City (corner of Dorchester Street and South Baltimore Avenue) on Saturday, October 19th at 11 a.m., sharing stories and spinning classic tunes from the decade.
Growing up near Baltimore, Mark spent his summers soaking up the sun and the sounds of Ocean City’s iconic Boardwalk. He’ll transport you back to those carefree days with music from legendary Boardwalk spots like Lombardi’s, Ponzetti’s, and Pixie Pizza.
But it’s not just a listening party! Get ready for some “Name that Tune” challenges, sing-alongs, and maybe even a dance contest. Afterward, Mark will be signing copies of his books, including “The Joy and Heartache of Our 1960s Music,” with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Museum.
Don’t miss this chance to relive the sights and sounds of Ocean City’s swinging sixties!
