The Mid-Atlantic Symphony will present its season-opening concert at the Performing Arts Center in Ocean City, Maryland on Sunday, September 26th at 3 PM. The concert, in dedication to the victims who lost their lives as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, will feature Modest Mussorsky’s Overture to Khovanshchina, and Maurice Ravel’s Tombeau de Couperin. Concluding the concert, the orchestra will perform Ludwig Van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 known as the Eroica. The 2nd movement of the symphony Beethoven wrote as a funeral march, in which we will remember the victims of the pandemic. *Proof of vaccine must be shown to attend event
