On Sunday, August 21st, there will be a memorial brunch and celebration to benefit the Eunice Q. Sorin Scholarship Fund. Earlier this season, Eunice Sorin, an Ocean City founder with a personality that will never be forgotten, passed away. A day of celebration and commemoration will take place on Eunice’s 88th birthday.
Join Ocean City locals from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Sunset Grille in West Ocean City, MD for a 50/50 raffle, amazing food, fun and friends. Seats are $25 per person and may be purchased in advance through the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce at 410-213-0144 or at www.oceancity.org. Credit cards are accepted.
The menu for the event includes you choice of:
- Jumbo Lump Crab melt with sliced tomatoes, Swiss cheese, ½ English muffin and hash browns with a fruit garnish.
- Atlantic Smoked Salmon with an everything bagel, tomato, red onion capers and cream cheese
- Poached Shrimp and asparagus omelet with goat cheese and hash browns with a fruit garnish
- Coffee, tea or soda available
The Eunice Q. Sorin Scholarship will be granted to a local student who exemplifies everything Eunice would have stood for while maintaining scholarly excellence. We hope to see you at this event!
