Been to OC almost every year since I was 2 and I am 53 years old now. I seen a lot of hotels and motels and restaurants being newly built. I have stayed in so many place I can’t count any more. However, I have to say in all my years I have never eaten at Angler’s. I know shocking. Loved their grouper fingers and will be returning for happy hour or dinner next year. I also have always been a Candy Kitchen fan but Dolles when it comes to salt water taffy is my new addiction. I usually stay on the boards and eat at Dough Roller there, but have to go down to pier side of the boards because I learned only that Dough Roller serves soft shell crab. The manager was very nice and we have stayed at the Breakers Hotel for many years. I can’t wait until next year we are doing the mid town Foodie tour for sure. I also learned so much history I didn’t know about Ocean City. This tour has been one of my favorite things to do ever in Ocean City. Believe me book today and don’t miss out. The tour guide was wonderful and very nice.

Absolutely loved this tour! Being a local I was surprised to discover 4 new places and learned a lot of local history. I was shocked there is so little I know about my home. Entertaining and filling. I even tried a few new things. Our tour guide was great and the staff that waited on us was wonderful as well.

My family and I did the Midtown foodie tour on 7/26/19. I’ve been coming to Ocean City for over 20 years and I had never been to the places on the tour! Everything was FABULOUS! The first stop on the tour was where we met the guides and other folks on the tour. We then walked down several blocks and back, stopping at a total of 7 restaurants. The food at each place was phenomenal. If anyone on the tour didn’t care for or had an allergy to the chosen food sample the kitchen cheerfully substituted for another option. Throughout the tour, guides gave us history of the city and even other restaurants. The leaders were hilarious and meeting new people on the tour was fun too! We even met several owners of the restaurant and heard their stories. I can’t say enough about how great this tour was. We were stuffed by the end of it (but you walk it off). I will DEFINITELY be doing the Downtown and Bay Hopper tours through OC Foodie Tours.

Even if you are local you should do this! Took my mom and a friend on the Bay Hopping Foodie Tour and it was AMAZING! I have lived here for over 25 years and I still learned new info. on the history of our area. Every restaurant provided a warm welcoming from managers and owners who provided tours and shared recipes and stories for their establishment. The food, drinks, attention and personalized service at each location was FABULOUS. So much food. At least 4 samples including drinks for those of us old enough at each location! All of the food was delicious. My favorites Ahi Tuna Taco’s and the green beans at Longboards, the boom boom shrimp and crazy delicious waffle ice cream sandwiches at Mad Fish and the Craby grilled cheese and crab soup Sneaky Peats. Sandy and her tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and are fun and engaging. My mom kept saying “how does she remember all of this?” It was a great way to spend the afternoon! Whether you are visiting, have guest in town, or are just looking for a fun date day with your significant other…DO THIS!! Thank you Sandy for bringing this to Ocean City!!!!

What a great way to spend the afternoon. A beautiful scenic boat ride provided by Steve of the Bay Hopper started our day. We visited several restaurants where the hospitality was second to none. Mad Fish, Sanibels, Longboard cafe and Dolles provided an abundance of food and refreshing drinks. The bay side of Ocean City has so much to offer.
I was fortunate enough to experience the downtown tour last year which was a completely different experience and I highly recommend. The down town charm of Ocean City comes to life as each restaurant on the tour has much history to offer. You are guaranteed to learn something new about the evolution of the Ocean City establishments!
