On Saturday, October 26, the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum will be bringing back the popular Paranormal Event. This event, which was held for the first time last fall, will allow visitors to follow along with Dead of Night Paranormal Team and experience the spirits that occupy the Ocean City Life- Saving Station Museum.
Dead of Night will conduct their investigation using equipment such as an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) recorder and an EMF (Electromagnetic Frequency) meter to detect and communicate with the supernatural. “In the evening hours after the sun sets the museum takes on a different feel,” commented Assistant Curator, Christine Okerblom. “This event gives visitors the chance to experience this historic building for more than a museum. We hope to contact the many lives that occupied this station in the early 1900s.”
As participants tour from room to room, museum staff will tell stories of tragic events and paranormal activity that have taken place within the 127 year old Life-Saving Station.
