Delmarva Bike Week 2009

If you are in Ocean City this week, you may notice a couple of changes as you drive down Coastal Highway. The speed limit, normally 40 mph through North Ocean City, has been reduced to 30 mph, and Downtown, the speed limit has also been reduced. This is due to the expected, unauthorized H2Oi Pop-Up Rally.  It is reasonable to expect heavier than usual traffic, noise and strict enforcement of vehicle laws during the week and weekend.

It is time again for Delmarva Bike Week.  The event officially starts September 17th and lasts all weekend.  The events takes place at several locations Ocean City, Berlin, Salisbury and Seaford, Delaware.  In Ocean City, Seacrets will be partying all weekend long with live entertainment, food and drinks.  Ten minutes west of Ocean City, the event at the Harley Davidson Store is the place to get your Official Bike Week merchandise, sign up for the Coast Pin Run, put your bike on a Dyno machine, check out vendors, food and more!  In Salisbury, about 40 minutes west of Ocean City, visit Winterplace Park for more fun and excitment.  Here you will find more vendors, food and live entertainment all weekend long!  In Delaware, visit the Harley Davidson Store in Seaford for more food, entertainment and merchendise.

This sounds like a day of progressive food and entertainment to me!  Even if you aren’t a Harley owner, this event is still for you!  Stop by to see the bikes, hear the music or eat some great food.  The event is free and open to the public so stop by one or all of these Official Bike Week locations!
