(March 29, 2013) The sixth annual Greater Ocean City Chamber Business Marketplace Expo, scheduled for April 4, at the Carousel Hotel on 118th Street, is an event for business owners and representatives to interact.
“It’s a chance for businesses to come in and see what other businesses in the area have to offer,” said Chamber Events Director Lisa Dennis. “It’s a good opportunity for people in the business community to network with each other and do business with each other.”

Two professional development seminars will be offered from 4-5 p.m.
Mark Luterman, CEO of Small Business Secret Weapon, will present a seminar focusing on “Taming the Silent Business Killer” and how to combat the No. 1 reason small businesses fail.
Joe Giordano, owner of Consulting, Training and Development Services, has more than 35 years experience in the human resources and leadership development arenas. His seminar will highlight, “HR Policies & Social Media.”

This year, the event will be combined with the Chamber’s April Business After Hours, which will take place from 5-7 p.m. During Business After Hours, there will be raffles, 50/50 drawing, complimentary appetizers and happy hour prices. Participants will also have the opportunity to win a Kindle Fire.
