(July 26, 2013) Today, Friday, is the first day of the fifth annual Branch Kreppel Memorial Blue Marlin Tournament, which continues through Sunday. The competition honors the late Glen Robert “Branch” Kreppel, a commercial diver and owner of Diver Services Company, who died in 2008 at the age of 44.
All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Kreppel’s family. The Level JJ dolphin calcutta will benefit the Ocean City Reef Foundation.
Weigh-ins will take place at Sunset Marina from 4-8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and until 8 p.m. Sunday.
