Bark for Life with your dog this weekend

If you are in Ocean City this week, you may notice a couple of changes as you drive down Coastal Highway. The speed limit, normally 40 mph through North Ocean City, has been reduced to 30 mph, and Downtown, the speed limit has also been reduced. This is due to the expected, unauthorized H2Oi Pop-Up Rally.  It is reasonable to expect heavier than usual traffic, noise and strict enforcement of vehicle laws during the week and weekend.

It’s time to let your dog take a bite out of cancer! Canines of all types will be coming together in a pack for Bark for Life on Saturday, April 9th, 2011. Bark for Life is a way for dogs to support their human’s efforts to fight cancer.

Your dog can have his or her own website, hold their own fundraiser, ask for donations and come out with you, their owner, to take a walk or play doggie games. Bark for Life takes place at Fort Whaley Campground, just off of Route 50 in Whaleyville. There will be food, kid’s games, pet vendors, prizes, camping, and more.

Bark for Life supports Relay for Life of North Worcester County.  This event will raise funds for all local American Cancer Society programs in Worcester County, MD. Help these organizations save lives and make more birthdays possible… and your dogs will be happy, too!
