From Delmarva Power —
Dear Community, Governmental & Emergency Management Partners,
Delmarva Power is prepared for and closely monitoring the approach of Hurricane Joaquin, which has the potential to cause significant damage throughout our service territory. We urge our customers to be prepared and heed the advice of our emergency management officials. Delmarva Power is committed to an emergency response system that makes safety a priority and restores power as quickly as possible. Customers can report outages and downed wires at 1-800-898-8042 and through our mobile app. Remember, never go near downed wires and always stay clear of working crews. Below are several links that we urge you to share with your stakeholders. Included are the Delmarva Power Storm Preparation Handbook, a Weathering the Storm Fact sheet, a short video on our power restoration process and links to our mobile app and outage map. As always, feel free to call or e-mail me with any questions or issues. Have a safe day.
Thanks, Jim
