22nd Annual Tuna Tournament This Week

If you are in Ocean City this week, you may notice a couple of changes as you drive down Coastal Highway. The speed limit, normally 40 mph through North Ocean City, has been reduced to 30 mph, and Downtown, the speed limit has also been reduced. This is due to the expected, unauthorized H2Oi Pop-Up Rally.  It is reasonable to expect heavier than usual traffic, noise and strict enforcement of vehicle laws during the week and weekend.

It is the 22nd Annual Tuna Tournament this week in Ocean City, Maryland.   If you like to fish and want to do it for cash…you better get down to the Ocean City Fishing Center and register to win.  Last year’s payout was over $571,000!  Prizes will be given for largest tuna, most pound caught and many other categories!  Juniors and ladies, there is even a division just for you! Check it out and register now.  Registration is July 9th from 3pm to 7pm at the Ocean City Fishing Center in West Ocean City.

If fishing is not your thing, you can still join in the excitment.  Head down to the docks to see the fish come in and get weighed in.  While you are there you can enjoy the live entertainment and delicious food and drink.
