Visit the Winterfest Village where you can walk past, through, and around thousands of lights. Enjoy hot chocolate at the Winterfest Village inside of the Yukon Cornelius tent. After having your picture taken with Santa Claus, get ready for the Winterfest Express.
The Winterfest Express is a tram-car ride that will give you a tour of the Winterfest of Lights. The lighted displays are huge and magnificent! You’ll see fairy tale scenes, pictures from some of your favorite stories, and lots of recognizable characters all made out of holiday lights. The ride costs $4 for those 10 years and older and is free for those 9 and under.
Some of the best displays are the 60-foot decorated holiday tree, the under-the-sea scene, the elf train, moving reindeers made of lights, and light-covered the North Pole.
The Tunnel of Lights at the Inlet Parking Lot in Ocean City will also be decorated with thousands of holiday lights. The Tunnel of Lights at the inlet lot is decorated with a nautical theme. Also lit is the Avenue of Trees. The Avenue of Trees runs from 15th to 32nd Streets. Each street has a tree display decorated in lights and wreaths.
The Winterfest of Lights is located in Northside Park: 127th Street and the Bay in Ocean City. With more than 1 million lights and hundreds of displays, make sure you visit Ocean City’s unique holiday light setup!
