Take the Tram available on the boardwalk
- The new, comfortable boardwalk trams can take you the whole length of the boardwalk, which travels from the Inlet to the North Booth at 27th Street. For just $2.50 per person, you can stop anywhere along the boardwalk and the best part of the full half-hour ride will be the detour that takes you on the pier close to the ocean where you can see, hear, and sometimes even feel the ocean water. Now you know you are in Ocean City, Maryland!
- Trams begin operation at 10 a.m. and end at midnight seven days a week during the summer season. Trams also operate during both Springfest and Sunfest weekends on regular schedule. Weekend-only service is offered beginning Easter weekend and continues until May 28. Beginning May 29, the trams are on the summer schedule of 10am to midnight 7 days per week. Weekend-only service also is offered during the month of October. This service is offered from September 29, to October 15.
- Tram fare is for one-way passage only. Discount fares are available; inquire at either tram station.
- The Boardwalk tram will stop at any location along the route to load or discharge passengers. You may request the tram to stop at any location along the route should you desire a ride.
