SonRise is a 'church plant' that started in January 2002 and launched weekly services in October 2002 at the Ocean Downs Race Track near Ocean Pines, Maryland. On August 17th, 2003 the congregation began meeting at their new location, Stephen Decatur High School at Rt. 50 & Seahawk Road in Berlin, Maryland. The church offers a small group study of their core doctrinal beliefs for anyone interested in becoming a member of the church or for those interested in learning about who they are and what they believe.
