Rent a Bike In Ocean City
From Ocean City Wiki
Renting Bicycles is a popular way to explore Ocean City's sites. It's an excellent means of transportation, especially during the summer with cool breezes coming off the ocean to make the ride comfortable. A specific bicycle / bus lane is provided on both sides of Ocean Highway, but extreem caution should be observed as many visitors are not familiar with and do not heed the right of way in the designated area of the road. An enjoyable place to ride especially for very young children and their parents is at the Northside Park, bayside 126th Street. Winding path ways in an open park setting provide a peaceful enjoyable ride. For older riders, exploring the back roads of the downtown area will reveal many old buildings, interesting marinas, and scenic views of the bay. To avoid traffic and the hustle and bustle, morning rides are often the best time of day for your excursions. Another "famous" location for riding is the Boardwalk from the inlet up to 26th Street, this is approximately 3 miles of safe and extreemly enjoyable route. Although permitted at various times through the year one can usually fit in a ride during their visit, and many places along the Boardwalk rent bicycles.
Note the specific hours when bicycling is permitted on the boardwalk.
