The granddaddy of the regional Phillips chain has been a part of Ocean City's culinary history since 1956. What started as a small, corner crab shack now covers a city block, with 13 Victorian-style dining rooms, 400 employees and seating for 1,400. Antique sewing machines serve as the base for tables set aglow by Tiffany lamps. Barn wood, Victorian-style pictures and carousel horses add to the comfortable, early 20th-century decor. Downstairs, starting at noon daily in season, you can select from an a-la-carte menu featuring fresh fish and seafood, combination platters, pastas, beef, chicken and ham. Upstairs, beginning at 4 p.m. daily in season, there's an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet.
