Ocean City Baptist Church is a congregation of "born again" believers. The church has been active in Ocean City since 1958 and was constituted as an autonomous congregation in October, 1983.
The church now meets in two different sites. The original site is at the foot of the Route 50 bridge as you enter Ocean City from Route 50. This building was built in 1899 by the First Presbyterian Church of Ocean City and was sold to the Baptist Convention of Maryland in 1963. It is one block from the Boardwalk of Ocean City and faces the Atlantic Ocean. The newest location is in West Ocean City behind the White Marlin Mall. The Ocean City Christian School makes its home in the facilities there.
