Ocean City, Maryland is a community located in Worcester County, Maryland (extreme south-eastern Maryland). Ocean City has become a popular destination for tourists in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. It attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors during the summer. The community itself has 7,100 residents and the community is considerably more quiet during the off-season.

There are twelve golf courses in Ocean City, and there are many popular restaurants and shopping areas. There are also several state parks nearby, including Assateague State Park.
