The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites was built in 2000 and is located on the site of the former Ocean Park and Sandyhill motels. The hotel was so successful that a 78-room addition and outdoor activity pool were added for the 2003 season. This 210 room, 14 story hotel has received the Torchbearer Award, an annual award given to the "best of the best" InterContinental Hotels Group properties several times since its opening in spring 2001 and is a popular place to stay in Ocean City.

The Suites are an Oceanfront all-suite resort hotel directly on the beach & boardwalk. Each suite is oversized, featuring a separate living room & bedroom, and private jacuzzi tub. The hotel also has two outdoor pools as well as a children's activity pool, an indoor heated pool in the atrium, and an oceanfront jacuzzi. Amenities include a Fitness Center, Game Room, and the Coral Reef restaurant. Guests are offered complimentary morning newspapers, coffee, tea, and fruit, as well as laundry service and TVs with HBO and Disney.
