Features

The (Stowaway) Grand Hotel opened in 2001 and offers 251 oceanfront and oceanview guestrooms. All rooms provide balconies, refrigerators and wet bars, voice mail and internet access and full size ironing boards (with irons). All guests have access to the bayview indoor and outdoor pool and sundeck, saunas, and gameroom. Some rooms have King Whirlpools. Handicap and smoking rooms are available.

Hotel Services include an indoor and outdoor pool, a full service Grande Salon, and game room. Several restaurants, including the Grand Terrace Restaurant, the Java Beach Coffee House (open 24hrs) and Shipwreck Lounge. Other guest services include a six-story parking facility adjacent to the hotel, guest laundry and handicap facilites. The hotel also has an ice cream shop and pool bar (in season). The Grand Hotel has direct access to the Ocean City Boardwalk and Atlantic Beach and access to a variety of Boardwalk retail shops.

The Grand Hotel is close to several Ocean City Restaurants, including Embers Restaurant, Fresco's, Fager's Island, Tutti Gusti, La Hacienda, The Blue Ox Steakhouse & Raw Bar, and Castaways Bar and Grill, 21st St. American Grille, Momma Mia's Pizzeria and OC Creamery Ice Cream Parlor are also nearby.

The Grand Hotel is located close to several attractions, including Atlantic Ocean and Ocean City Boardwalk, Trimper's, Ocean Downs Harness Racing, and twenty-one area golf courses. Other Ocean City attractions include outdoor recreation such as fishing and the new Ocean City Convention Center.

The Grand Hotel offers 8,200 square feet of convention space and the Grand Terrace. Guest rooms and bayview banquet facilities provide space for social gatherings, general sessions, exhibits and meal functions. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate large events. The Grand Terrace and outdoor deck can accommodate meal events. The Lobby Level Conference Room can accommodate smaller meetings.

The Grand Hotel offers several packages for large groups. The "Grand Golf" package offers a third night free after a two night visit. Other seasonal packages include the "Sunset Stay & Dine" package, which includes two nights lodging, breakfast for two on one morning and a dinner voucher at an Ocean City restaurant. The Sunrise Bed & Breakfast includes breakfast for two for each of a two night visit.
