Emphasizing Text: Bold and Italics

You can emphasize text by putting two apostrophes on each side. Three apostrophes will emphasize it strongly'. Five apostrophes is even stronger.

How to Distiguish Different Lines of Text:

A single newline has no effect on the layout. Therefore, hitting enter or return on your keyboard only once will not create a new line.

But an empty line starts a new paragraph. To create a new line, after the previous text, press return or enter on your keyboard twice.

Creating a Break in the Line:

You can break lines without starting a new paragraph. You simply type and then write <br> Wikipedia asks that you please use this feature sparingly.

Making an Ordered List:

Creating Horizontal Lines

You can make horizontal dividing lines to separate text by pressing the horizontal dash symbol four times, or by clicking on the thick black horizontal line in the editing tool bar above.
