Fager's Island created a niche for itself by taking the reknown seafood of Ocean City and giving it a flair that makes their menu very unique. Their fusion cuisine features appetizers like Nori-crusted seared tuna with a basil-wasabi aioli on a bed of sliced tomato and fresh baby spinach leaves. Entrees include a blue cheese-crusted New York Strip Steak and roasted sea bass served with horseradish sauce and spinach florentine on a pillow of puff-pastry. In addition to an impressive menu, they have nightly celebrations of the sunset, where the play Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" over loudspeakers throughout the restaurant while the sunset paints the sky bright colors and diners observe it over the water. The restaurant also hosts live music performances and DJ nights several nights a week. Entrees range from $7.50 to $29 with the price of Lobster varying. On Sundays, Fagers' Island serves a jazz brunch, with a live performance by musician Everett Spells. Fager's has a full bar, a children's menu, takes reservations and is open year-round. It is open for brunch, lunch, dinner and has earlybird specials.
