Details

Completed in 1997, the Roland E. Powell Convention Center is triple the size of the original Convention Center. The Convention Center also houses the Ocean City Visitor Information Center.

Located in Ocean City along the Isle of Wight Bay at 40th Street, the facility has been enhanced by additional exhibit halls, meeting rooms, a multi-purpose banquet/general session area, and a full-service kitchen that serves groups of 2,500-plus. A food court nearby holds two modern concession areas. Festivals, concerts, antique shows and arts and crafts events open to the public are held throughout the year at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center. These include major regional and national events like the Cruisin' car show and music festival, the Fire Fighters' Convention, the Starpower national talent show, and concerts by legendary musical artists like the Beach Boys.
