Synepuxent Post 166 celebrated 60 years of service in Ocean City in 2006 and looks forward to many more years serving veterans. The post welcomes all Legionaires visiting Ocean City, just show your Legion membership card for entry. During the winter it's lounge hours are as follows: Monday through Thursday opens at 1:00 PM, Friday and Saturday opens at 12:00 PM. Every Friday is soup day, get a bowl of homemade soup and a draft for $2.50. Meetings are the 2nd and 4th Monday's of each month at 8:00 PM with refreshments served after the meetings. Generally the first meeting of the month is a business meeting and the second features a speaker of interest. If you are an eligble veteran, then Synepuxent Post 166 invites you to join.

The Memorial is located on point of land at the South Gate Pond of Ocean Pines, directly across from McDonald’s restaurant, and is easily visible from the road. There is free parking at the site and it is handicap accessible.
