Ocean City, Maryland occupies a thin barrier island that stretches from the Assateague Inlet on the south to Delaware on the north.  Assawoman Bay spreads out behind the island and you have to cross onto Ocean City via the Route 50 bridge on the south end, the Route 90 bridge at approximately 60th Street, and then the Route 54 bridges in Delaware.  These roads can become crowded in the summer time and you may not want to wait to get to that perfect ice cold drink and fabulous meal.  You don’t have to.  Just climb in your boat and try these great restaurants that line the Bay from the Assateague Inlet all the way into Delaware.  West Ocean City hosts several in close proximity as well.

Delaware:

  • Harpoon Hannahs

Ocean City:

  • DeLazy Lizard (opening in June)
  • Fager’s Island
  • Seacrets
  • Fish Tales
  • Macky’s

West Ocean City:

The Reel Inn where they hold the White Marlin tournament every year is also accessable by boat.
