What to do in Late August in Ocean City while SAVING MONEY:

What to do this week in Ocean City while SAVING MONEY:

Ocean City has been GORGEOUS this week despite some storms.  The sky has been dramatic, the water clear and warm, and the sunsets spectacular.  If you haven’t already checked out OceanCity.com’s Facebook page (ocfun) to see the sunset in Ocean City each August night, you should!  If you miss seeing the setting sun over Assawoman Bay when you aren’t here, seeing these pictures will bring those beach memories flooding back.  Even if you are in Ocean City, check out our page because our sunset picture might be just a little different than the one you see out your window AND you get all kinds of other information and money saving tips year round.

As August winds down and the students are headed back to campuses across the state and the nation, it’s the perfect time to drive down to Ocean City’s famous beach and boardwalk for those last glorious golden days of summer.  You can even do your school shopping here and forget the bustle of the malls in your hometown.  Just think, when you finish buying your school supplies in West Ocean City and your clothing up and down the beach — you can even go to the Outlet’s in Rehoboth — you can take advantage of all Ocean City has to offer.  You can stop at Mione’s for the best Eggplant Parmesan or a slice of their award winning pizza and then take a stroll at Assateague and watch the ponies grazing in the marsh.   You can play on the beach, catch those last waves and watch the dolphins frolic before they, too, head south.
