This spectacular photo by ocmdhotels shows you want you can’t miss this 4th of July: Fireworks in Ocean City.
Ocean City, MD is a great place to be for the 4th of July, especially with family and loved ones. It’s two – two celebrations in one — when you come to the beach this weekend. Both Northside Park and North Division Street will feature concerts and fireworks displays beginning at 8 pm.
Northside Park (127th St. and the Bay):
Entertainment: Dr. K’s Motown Review
Fireworks: Will start at 9:30 and be launched from the west side of the park. Get there early to claim the best fireworks viewing location.
North Division Street (and the Boardwalk):
Entertainment: The Boardwalk offers it’s own entertainment on any day of the week, but especially on the 4th of July. You have all the games, amusements, and food, but the bright lights and music always gracing the Boardwalk will be enhanced by a fireworks display at 9:30 pm and the concert that starts at 8 pm. Rick K and the Allnighters will provide this holiday concert.
Parking is limited at both the north and south fireworks locations. It is recommended that you take the bus. Bus service is $2 a day and runs 24 hours a day. The West Ocean City Park & Ride on Route 50 is just west of the Route 50 Bridge and offers free parking and $1 shuttle service to downtown.
