The Town of Ocean City provides many free events to help you enjoy your stay here at the beach without spending a lot of money.  

Movies on the Beach start at 8:30 p.m. every Monday and Friday, at 27th Street. Movies start at around 8:30 p.m. and run to around 10:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Additional Free Movies on the Beach will be shown at the Princess Royale at 91st Street on Thursday nights and at the Carousel Hotel at 118th Street on Wednesday nights.  Again, the movies start at 8:30.:

Free Concerts on the Beach feature music for the whole family, Wednesday evenings from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Division Street beach. Bring your beach chairs and/or blankets, and enjoy beautiful music in a beautiful setting

Radio Disney AM640 Summer Concerts
Free family concerts from Radio Disney Stars.  On the beach at North Division St. from 6 pm – 8 pm.

8/14: Tiffany Thornton, star of the Disney Channel’s “So Random”.  There will be a Q&A session after the concert.

8/21:  The Ready Set: This is the summer concert finale.  There will be a one hour public meet and greet following the performance.  

The Family Beach Olympics are held Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the 27th Street beach, August 9, 2011. Events include sand castle contests, tug of war, relay games and more. (Children must be accompanied by parents or guardians.)

Sundaes in the Park. This popular event combines a free concert with ice cream for a small fee at Northside Park, 127th Street (bayside) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. While parents enjoy the music, children will enjoy special entertainment just for them. July 10, 17, 24, 31; August 7, 14, 21, 28, 2011.

Morning shows and demonstrations are held Monday through Saturday at 10:30 a.m., at the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum (south end of the boardwalk). See feedings at the museum’s aquarium, learn about sharks, beach safety and knot-tying, to name a few.

Sunset Park Party Nights are held Thursday nights in August. Watch the sun set over the Isle of Wight Bay from the perfect location in Ocean City! Sunset Park is located along South Philadelphia Avenue on the Bay. Event begins at 7 p.m. and runs to approx. 9:00 p.m. Admission to the park is free, while beverages, including beer, are available for purchase. Event held August 4, 11, 18 and 25. – It is recommended that attendees bring their own seating.
