The Monte Carlo let us check in about an hour early, very courteous staff-a bit pricey, but everything in OC is this time of year :) Will definitely stay there again as it has a great location very close, but not too close to all the action at the boardwalk!

Hotel Monte Carlo Oceanside: "Unpleasant night time"

I stayed on the second floor where the laundry room is located. It was very unpleasant for laundry to be done at night when guests are trying to sleep, it would be better if this is done during the day time when guests are out and about. The hall way smell is very unpleasant as well. Love to stay there again, but not on second floor please.

We had fun in Maryland. The staff was really nice. The king size bed was nice and comfortable. The jacuzzi was great. The only thing was that the person who cleaned our room didn't give us shampoo or soap for the entire weekend. She didn't fold the towels, just put them on the toilet. The people on our floor were slamming doors and were loud the entire weekend. The hotel itself was nice, just happened to be a lot of loud people on our floor.

The hotel and rooms were clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. The beds were very uncomfortable. The indoor pool was cold and could have been heated. Overall a nice hotel at a great location.

liked the location though we saw some better values at comparable places nearby. pool was only 3 feet deep and jacuzi was much too hot.

I really can't say enough about the staff at the Monte Carlo. Everyone I had contact with either in person or on the phone, was polite and helpful and friendly. Looking forward to returning next year!

Hotel Monte Carlo is a simple hotel. The room was clean and served its purpose. It is not fancy at all but has a cute beachy feel. The pool is very small and could fit about 4 people comfortably. The only negative thing is that in order to get ice, I had to go to the front desk, it was a real inconvienence.

Hotel Monte Carlo Oceanside: "Great Place."

We loved our trip to the Monte Carlo. Our room was great, the service throughout the hotel was great. We requested no maid service but when ever we asked for more towels and linens they were given to us. Every time we passed a staff member in the hallway they were polite and always smiling. The indoor pool was very tiny. more like an oversized hot tub than a pool. The outdoor pool was decent size and there were plenty of chairs to relax in. And the view from the pool was good.
