Our stay at the Cabana wasn't to great. The room wasn't cleaned properly. The floors were not vacuumed and the bathroom floor wasn't washed. Even the walls had stuff on them, I won't say what it looked like! I used to work for a nice hotel as a housekeeper so I no this one just didn't cut it. Won't stay there again. Disappointed from Meadville, PA

The place is not safe and is old and falling apart. We were woken up in the middle of the night by the police because someone had broken into the room below us. The balcony felt like it was going to fall off every time someone walked on it. From the ceiling tiles to the carpet to the bedspreads, everything was old, funky and dirty.

the rooms really need to be updated and fixed up. when taking a shower the hot and cold water would change on there own one minute it gets really hot then the next minute it was really cold.

the cabane was a pretty nice place, great location.not the nicest looking from the outside but the rooms were actually nice.. the pool was very small. this place is great for younger couples but woudnt reccomend for families!

It was a great location. Very close to shops, beach, etc. Pool was nice and clean. Service was good. Room was extremely small, not much room to move, had to wal sideways to get into bathroom as the AC unit was placed right outside bathroom door so we were unable to open the door all the way. It was nice, you get what you pay for. Overall, would stay there again!

The air conditioner did not work, also there were gaps in the wall around it, so our room was hotter than outside. Other than that it was the best deal in OC :)

The price was the best thing about the motel. The staff tried to be helpful. The beds were like rocks, there was black hair in the shower and a candy rapper under the one bed when we arrived. Fortunately we took clorox wipes with us and cleaned the bathroom before anyone used it but there weren't any bugs and that's a big plus in my book. The water pressure in the shower was laughable and several of the 'clean' washcloths we got had black hair in them. If you're young and don't have back issues it's an ok place to stay, however we won't be going back - two of us slept on the floor because it was more comfortable than the bed.

The room was not clean when we arrived. Did not have maid service until we we there two days. At first the reservations were messed up, but that was straighten out before we arrived.

Cabana motel: "Great Value"

Overall the stay was great. The room was smaller, but actually comfortable for my wife, myself and our two boys(6 & 5). The cable TV was plentiful to watch while winding down from a day on the beach. The pool was warm and clean. The only gripe was that the stairs, along with the second level platform was a little weak in some areas. Location was great, we were a block from the boards, a block from CVS, and a block from Philips Buffet. Overall a great deal at a great location,with a great price.
