Cabana motel: "terrible"

The pool was very dirty, and there was bread in it. The shower did not turn off the whole time we were there. The TV did not turn on. Nobody there spoke english to complain to.

The bathroom was the size enough to fit one person and the beds need to be trashed. Needs a total redo of the rooms. I would never stay there again. Very Disappointed!

We were in OC for the 5 mile race. The Cabana was all we expected. You get what you pay for... we knew we werent staying at the Hilton so the Cabana provided us with all that we had expected.

Don't expect all the bells and whistles when you're paying less than $100. The mattress was meh, the room was small, small shower, but it comes with a TV and fridge. Nothing special just a budget room. Although the location is fantastic. Only a couple blocks from the boardwalk, and 2 buffets among other things

the housekeepers are very speedy with cleaning the rooms we booked 2 more nights after are stay and we were back in the room in 15 minutes and she did a great job, it was a peaceful stay no problems the staff at the hotel are very kind :)

My friends and I went down to the beach for a get away vacation, during senior week to be able to hang out with all of our friends that graduated this year too. I booked a room for my friend and I, the room slept four but the room was so small 2 needs to be the max! The rooms were small, and with very few electrical outlets through out the room. With the very few there were-we were lucky if they even worked. There was an extension cord behind the dresser to where the frig. was. We would come back many nights and the frig wasn't even on and running because the cords dont stay plugged in the outlets-they come unplugged. Plus on top of all that how is two girls suppose to get ready with a few outlets, but that was fine-we managed. Getting towels and washclothes were a struggle to get everyday-whenever we would ask for them, the staff didn't understand what we were trying to say that we needed. The price of the room was very cheap to stay for five nights, for two people-which is a good thing! I would recomend this place to otheres for teens and young adults just to go there to have a good time, and just need the place as somewhere to sleep; but this place is definetly not the place for a nice, relaxing, family vacation/get away! We had to eat out just about every night that we wanted to eat dinner because we brought food to eat in the microwave but once we got to the room we didn't have one-even though we called before time to make sure we had one, and they said yeah, no problem.

The office staff was exceptional on arrival and departure. But the room and grounds were nothing at all to brag about! There was a wet used wash cloth hanging in the shower. The air conditoner filter was filthy, I had to clean it. And the welcome sign on the mirror and the paper I received when I got my key said that I should hang a sign oyt on my door if I wanted the room cleaned. There was no sign to hang out. When we left that day at 1:00 on Saturday to do things and then returned I found that someone had been in the room and emptied the trash cans. They should not have came into the room because there was no sign outside the door to tell them to do that! That was very uncomfortable. I didn't like that at all. the ice machine also charges 25 cents for ice and that was OUT OF ORDER. For paying almost $300 for 2 nights and would have had to pay for ice is absurd. But then it was OUT OF ORDER. I had a refrigerator but when you have a 2 liter of diet coke and a 2 liter of gingerale and a gallon of water that is warm, it take a long time for that to get cold. I will never stay there again!

We did not stay....The room was musty, the toilet did not work, and the door had a big hole in the bottom of it. We checked it and checked out. Found a reasonble apartment down the street.

the website made it look alot better then it actually was. got there thursday nite and they just left the key inside the room and no one was around to check us in. the cleaning people came into room when we were still in the room and didnt have the curtains open like they told us to do when your room is ready to be cleaned the shower went from HOT to COLD and the toliet ran all the time and the light in bathroom went out told the guy at the desk and he said he'd fix it in the morning and he never did. the parking lot was empty and they wouldnt let me park my trailer in the lot. would never stay there ever again. would rather sleep in my truck then pay to stay there!!!!!!
