Quick Pass gives spectators easier entry to competitions

(June 27, 2014) The Dew Tour Beach Championships, held June 25-29, on the beach in downtown Ocean City, just north of the pier, is a free event and open to the public.

General admission is free for all competitions and concerts, although Dew Tour fans can upgrade their experience as a limited number of premium passes are available.

Ocean City “Quick Pass” and “VIP Pass” are available at DewTour.com, Ticketmaster.com and the Ocean City convention center box office on 40th Street.

Ocean City Quick Pass options: a Friday Day Pass for $20, a Saturday BMX Park Pass for $20 and a Sunday Skateboard Bowl Pass for $20.

Quick Pass benefits: a separate line for early access to events, shorter wait in line once competitions begin and a souvenir credential.

VIP Passes cost $200 per day. Passes for Saturday are sold out. Sunday VIP Passes were still available as of Monday.

A VIP Pass entitles holders to the best viewing at each competition that day from the exclusive VIP tower. They will also receive lunch and dinner catering, Pepsi products and shaded lounge seating.

“Another first for the Beach Championships is our new way of experiencing it all. With our exclusive VIP tickets, we’re offering viewing from a new vantage point that puts you eye level with the athletes flying out of the vert ramp, and a birds eye view of the entire BMX park course and skate bowl,” said  Alli Sports President Eric Grilly. “Pairing this with perks like light catering and Pepsi products makes for a one-of-a-kind Dew Tour access we’ve never provided the public before.”
