Horizons Oceanfront Restaurant in the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel: From 12:00 p.m.-8.p.m., Horizons will host their famous “All-You-Can-Eat” Buffet in their award winning facility with one of the best wine lists on the Eastern Shore. The cost is $19.95 for adults, $13.95 for children 9-12, and $7.95 for children 4-8 years old. Choices include turkey with gravy, roasted sirloin, glazed Virginia baked ham, salmon with dill sauce, macadamia nut stuffing, whipped potatoes, yams, fresh vegetables, cranberry sauce, fresh baked rolls, fruit and cheese, and assorted cakes and pies. In addition to the Thanksgiving buffet, there is a holiday menu with appetizers and entrees including crab cakes, surf and turf, filet mignon, and prime rib of beef au jus ranging in price from 25.00-45.00. You won’t be sorry you chose to let someone else cook as you sip wine and watch the Atlantic from your table. Fine dining with a great view is the name of the game for Horizons. The Shark on the Harbor Restaurant in West Ocean City: The Shark has the best view in all of Ocean City and is the “greenest.” This dining options features organic and local ingredients when possible and the fish is always fresh. As you look over the working harbor with boats coming and going to see the crashing waves on Assateague Island, you have two great options for Thanksgiving. For only $95.00, Travis will prepare a traditional holiday celebration dinner for up to 8 people to carry home. Included is a 14 lb turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, house made cranberry sauce, stuffing, and pumpkin cheesecake. If you place your carry out order before October 31, you will receive $10.00 off of this price. You can always stay to enjoy the view while you feast for $18.00 per person. The Captain’s Table in the new Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Ocean City: This newly re-opened restaurant is a welcome addition to the fine dining options in Ocean City, Md. The discerning diner in the area has been waiting for this popular restaurant to re-open and re-open it did when the brand new Courtyard by Marriott opened its doors this summer. The hotel is gorgeous and so is the restaurant. If you want to get a great breakfast before heading over to Assateague, the Captain’s Table is open beginning at 6:30 am. Lunch will be served from 11:30 – 1 pm. The traditional Thanksgiving buffet with turkey and all the trimmings will be available from 2 pm until 8 pm. The cost is $22.95 for adults, $10.95 for children ages 5 – 10, with children 4 and under complimentary.
Schooner’s Restaurant in the Princess Royale Restaurant at 91st on the Beach in Ocean City: Live entertainment and a view of the Atlantic Ocean are the additional attractions to this fabulous Thanksgiving Day Buffet. For only $17.95/adult; $9.95/child 5 – 12 years of age, and children under 5 free, you can stuff yourself on imported and domestic cheeses and fruit, seasonal breads, bountiful fresh salad selections, pumpkin bisque, roasted turkey with gravy, top round of beef au jus, honey glazed baked Virginia ham, fresh harvest vegetable medley, baked lasagna, candied yams, whipped potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, corn pudding, and an amazing selection of desserts. Stop you say, but I can’t and neither should you. Thanksgiving is a day for celebration and enjoyment with your family and friends. Bring them all down to the Princess and you won’t regret your decision.
The Bonfire welcomes guests in for their annual Thanksgiving buffet from 1 p.m-8 p.m. The cost is 18.95 for adults, and 11.95 for children ages 5-12 years old. Children under four years old are free. When you arrive, start your meal with fresh baked bread, homemade muffins, and salad. From there, choose from Roasted Turkey with homemade gravy, glazed country ham, seafood gumbo, or snow crab bisque. Make sure not to miss out on the mashed potatoes, yams, or sweet potatoes with praline topping. If you are able to save room after all of that, the dessert menu includes pumpkin pie, apple pie, puddings, homemade cobblers, and assorted cakes.
The Embers Restaurant is offering a Thanksgiving buffet starting at 17.99 for adults, 15.99 for senior citizens, and 10.99 for children 12 and under. Customers will have unlimited choices of traditional dishes for the holiday. Turkey, Roast Beef, Mash Potatoes, Gravy, Stuffing, Green Been Casserole, Fried Chicken, Glazed Ham, Stuffed Crab Imperial, Cream of Turkey Soup, Salmon, Stuffed Pork, Peas and Pearl Onions, Chicken and Dumplings, Cranberry-Sauce, Candied Yams, Baked Ziti, Sweet Potato and Pumpkin Bisque, Potato Salad, Shrimp Salad, and Cole Slaw will be available starting at 12:30 p.m.
Fagers Island is serving their traditional Thanksgiving dinner from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. This includes turkey, stuffing, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, relish, snap peas, assorted breads and muffins. For those who prefer an alternative menu to Thanksgiving dinner, other entrees will be available such as crab cakes and steak. Prices are $19.95 for adults, $12.95- kids under 12, and children under 5 years of age are free.
BJ’s on the Water has announced their Thanksgiving dinner options. The entire menu will be available from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. In addition, for 13.95 you can have their Thanksgiving dinner which includes turkey, sage sausage dressing, cranberry relish, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie.
Your appetite should return on Friday just in time to enjoy another fine dining option in Ocean City: the Galaxy 66 Bar and Grille at 66th Street and Coastal Highway on the bay side has wonderful food and is featuring the Philly George Band.
