Iconic Beach Boys, Rising Country Music Star Kip Moore Headline Sunfest 2013

Sunfest is Ocean City, Maryland’s biggest and best annual festival. That being said, it should come as no surprise that Ocean City recruits some of the biggest national recording acts to headline the Sunfest stages. In addition to the multitude of local favorites and nationally recognized tribute bands, Sunfest 2013 will be headlined by one of the fastest rising country music stars and, perhaps, the greatest American rock band ever assembled.

Kip Moore has been called country music’s equivalent to a young Bruce Springsteen because of his gritty storytelling and real life lyrics. He’s spent the summer of 2013 touring America with country music icon Toby Keith, but before the concert season comes to an end, Moore is bringing his growing catalog of well-known hits, and signature red baseball cap, to Ocean City. Join him, and fellow emerging country music star Kacey Musgraves, on Friday September 20 as they share the Sunfest stage for an unforgettable show. This is your chance to check out two of the next big names in country music along their journey to superstardom.

Speaking of superstars, for over 50 years, The Beach Boys have embodied the spirit of ‘Endless Summer’, and American music as a whole. Who better, then, to headline 4 days of music and fun designed to ward off the onslaught of winter blues? The Beach Boys are one of the most iconic and successful bands in the history of American music and their distinctive songs of sun, surf, and good times along the beach are known all around the world. On Saturday September 21, Brian Wilson and the boys will be rocking Sunfest with all their classic hits, and doing their part to help keep the ‘good vibrations’ of summer going for just a little while longer.
