Halloween Hits Ocean City

Things get a little spooky in Ocean City around Halloween! We know that Halloween is over a month away, but isn’t it time to start thinking about your costume? Children, and some adults, all over Delmarva are already looking forward to showing off their costumes and going trick-or-treating. The area trick-or-treat schedules have not been released yet, but as soon as they are, OceanCity.com will inform your of the dates and times.

If you’re an adult looking to for something to do, you’ve come to the right town. Just about every bar in Ocean City has their own variation of a Halloween Costume Contest. Most bars will wait until 1:30 a.m. to begin judging the contest and the crowds are large. Bar-hopping throughout OC is one way to see many costumes and show off your own!

Looking for a Haunted Horror House? This year, on October 29th and 30th, Fort Whaleyville Campground has several activities planned to spook you. Enjoy a Halloween magic show, pumpkin decorating, witchy bonfires, clowns, and LJ’s favorite Monster Bash Walk through the Whaleyville Haunted Horror House. If you plan on camping at the campground for the holiday, dress your campsite scary for Halloween and enter to win a free nights stay.

Castaways on Eagles Nest Road in Berlin, MD is going extreme for Halloween! Starting on October 15th and running through October 30th, families and friends can get together for fall crafts, games, and activities. Classic carnival games, fall inspired crafts, face painting, children’s rides, and pumpkin decorating will all take place at Castaways. Candy will be plentiful and trick-or-treat is scheduled for October 30th.
