Every month people who believe in environmental support meet up at informal sessions known as Green Drinks. Green Drinks is a global force for environmental good. With 636 different cities participating, the Green Drink program is celebrated worldwide and closer to home. Maryland cities like Annapolis, Frederick, Baltimore, and now Ocean City are taking part in helping our planet while having some fun in a relaxing setting. It’s time for our 2nd meeting!
Green Drinks’ goal is to bring together everyone who shares a passion for the environment or is concerned about the ecology in Ocean City. As an initiative to help save our planet, the Shark on the Harbor Restaurant in West Ocean City will host a Green Drinks night every 3rd Wednesday of the month.
On Earth Day, more than 75 people showed up at the Shark to support the Green Drinks program. Business owners, green contractors, solar panel sales teams, organic farmers, and others who live eco-friendly enjoyed a night of good drinks, fun conversation, and fine company.
The Shark on the Harbor is the meeting place for Green Drinks because they feature several organic and sustainable wines, beers, and liquors. You can be eco-friendly while sipping on a glass of the house wine and relaxing in the ambiance of The Shark. All house wines are organic, and other wine selections are sustainable and environmentally friendly.
This month, Green Drinks will be held on Wednesday, May 12th from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Shark on the Harbor Restaurant. Please join us to spread the word about the preservation and protection of our planet. For more information about the program, contact Ann McGinnis Hillyer at Amh@maryland.com.
Come out and show your support for Green Drinks!
