There was also a course on 3rd St behind the old Breakers Hotel / Dough Roller called Bamboo Golf. I used to play there a lot, especially since it was really easy to win a free game on the last hole.

I think Bamboo Golf joined "Vanishing Ocean City" when the old Breakers was torn down around 2004.

I liked when the Old Pro on 28th Street was two separate courses-Castle and Circus. Now it is 27 holes, which is too long to keep the interest of young players. I miss the Sunburst course, which was behind the Quality Inn Boardwalk. It has been replaced by townhouses =

I remember that one too (Gold Rush Golf). Should look if I have some photos of this, but I don't think so.
I had some very good memories as well, playing golf in Ocean City when I was a kid.

As has been their tradition in the past, Old Pro Golf on 68th street will again have free golf all day Christmas day....
