    reply to frontier town

Frontier town is definitley NOT corny, if u have kids it's a great place. At a low low price, it offers so many things to do. They have water slides, kiddy water area, a newly built lazy river, western shows, and a minature golf course. My family visited there last year, and it was a very nice place. and you also can't beat the prices! So i think you made a good choice.

    Lazy River

Does anyone know how long the lazy river is? Does it go under things and stuff? Or is it very short? Does it get crowded? Is the water heated? Any information is appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Don't go to Frontier Town!!

Years ago, we took our daughter, then about 3 or 4, to Frontier Town. We took the stage coach ride. It was horrible and we all had nightmares for a long time. They stage a hold up. However, they scared my daughter and us to death by holding a gun to me and telling her they were going to kill her mother. Then they handed the gun to her and told her she had to do it. They handed her the "gold" and then told her since she had it this had to be done. Then they made my husband get out of the coach at gunpoint and put his arms around a tree. They screamed at him to kiss the tree and were hitting him and screaming at him and in front of everyone. We were terrified and shaking and crying. They were making fun of my husband and of us. Afterwards we asked for a manager and a 12 year old girl came out and said she was the manager. She wouldn't do anything, not even apologize or refund our money. Said that is the show they do and that's that. We tried reporting it to attorney general. They pretty much said they would do nothing. It was a horrible, violent, humiliating experience. I would never recommend that place to anyone. We are fun people and don't mind joking around or playacting. But this was ridiculous. Even just writing about it after all these years gives me the creeps. I wish we would have tried to do more back then but we didn't and were scared. My advice is to stay away from the place especially in this day and age. The place goes overboard.

    Frontier Town

    Hi!
We just visited F.T. less than a week ago. I must say it was alot of fun. As far as the "hold up" on the Stage Coach. NO ONE was asked to get off the Coach. None of the "robbers" held a gun to anyone's body. As a matter of fact, the bandits made quite a few jokes which the kids truly enjoyed! Anyone going to O.C. especially with kids...try to visit Frontier Town. The adult admission is $11 but everything (all rides) are free. This includes a horseback ride down a trail for adults and older kids, an escorted pony ride for the younger children. Lunch is pretty inexpensive. They have great chili and the burgers are not pre-made pattys. My family loved the experience and will continually visit F.T. each year!
