Power was shut off to all of lower OC, (I believe below 11th) to protect the grid from high water.

@OceanCity is tweeting some pictures. Several of Harpoon Hannahs area with lots of flooding and this one:

I assume they bays will swell higher this evening with the high tide. Going to be a lot of damage for sure.

So sad, most all of the bayside is underwater right now and the worse is yet to come.

The gazebo at Fagers is gone (so I heard), the Lighthouse near Fagers is on fire right now. Reports of a boat on dry dock got loose and headed toward a home in West Ocean City.......... reports are the homeowner took a shotgun and shot at it. (Not sure if true, picture I saw showed the boat with shrink wrap on it though).

So much flooding, I left for a little bit and drove down Route 54. Harpoon Hanna's parking lot flooded with a Mercedes that has water going over the hood. 54 at the light at hannas has water from the bay over taking it, the side communities like Cape Windsor looked totally under water as well did the parking lots for Hawaiian Crab, Lobster Shanty, Capt Mac's and Smitty's had a flooded parking lot. Didn't look like the water got over the curb at Smitty's. But then again this was a few hours ago......... well before the high tide and whatever storm surge we should get.

The damage in town will be devestating, seriously hope no injuries will result.

None of these pictures are mine, just random images I have seen online.

Happy to say neither of those are true. the fire picture is a fake and the gazebo is still there just a little wet

You can tune into OC Fire/Rescue via this link:

I don't believe any registration is necessary.
