Hello everyone! I am already counting down the days til I get to be in OC for Thanksgiving. I have been checking the OC webcams just to get a sneak peak of the beach, but I also have been checking the Northside Park cam to see if any Winterfest displays have started to go up.
If any locals notice that some displays go up, please let me know or post a picture or two on here.

the first day of the winterfest of lights is Thursday November 15, so it won't be too far off that displays should be going up
common sense is not so common
May have to make it down for a weekend in November to go to Winterfest of Lights again. I miss the ocean
Heading down the second weekend in December this year, Missed last year but have made it 8 out of the last 10 years.
With the record attendance from last year http://oceancitymd.gov/blog/index.ph...ts-new-record/, I hope OC Parks and Rec goes above and beyond with new light displays for this year. Looking forward to it in December. I wonder if the horse and carriage rides could be included in the festivities, maybe to and from satellite parking.
I love the Winterfest. It is definitely a part of my family's tradition. If you check out Ocean City's Special Events Facebook page, they posted a picture of the big tree already up! Made the reservations for December will be staying right in front of winterfest so will be able to walk there can't wait.
