    Re: hotel recommendations

Stayed at the Comfort Inn on 5th, for the first time, this past weekend and had a positive experience. There was a lot of action on the boardwalk and the location was great. I booked thru the site and that was also a great experience and saved $10/night off the lowest web rate.

    Re: hotel recommendations

We've finally decided on the Holiday Inn on 17th. Initially they had quoted $20 more for Sunday night. But when I called with some questions last night they quoted the weekday price of $149 for all three nights.

Thank you all for being so helpful and friendly, and for all the info and advice. I'm hoping to have a great time there this April.

You won't be disappointed. And the construction on the boardwalk in front of the HI is nearly done and will be finished before your arrival.

They're going in April. The boardwalk is not that loud in April.

I hope you enjoy your stay at the Holiday Inn Suites on 17th Street!

I am a little biased but you made a great choice. If you have any more questions (and don't feel like calling) Meaghan does a great job of answering questions on their Facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/ocsuites

Have a great time in O.C.!
