More commercial real estate for sale. Cowboyz Smokehouse is still for sale. Bootsy's has a sign up for lease.

A couple more retailers just closed shop in Fenwick Island. There is vacant property everywhere.

Obama is doin a swell job ain't he.

Beach Days on Rt 54 is for sale or lease, the Boathouse and Spanky's have a for lease ad on their marque. That whole 45th street village is suffering until the city lets Avi go ahead and build something.

Not sure if Cefaloni's (same center next to Captain's) will re-open. The wife left the husband over the summer, he stayed around until October or so. I wish them the best.

A lot of places closing for the first time, the Super Thrift in Montego Bay is closed for a few months......... first time in 30 years they did this. I noticed the Exxon on 142nd has been closed all month, not even on the weekends. No sign or anything, Powerball has been $37M all month. Crabcake Factory closed during the week now too.

We do have some new things opening up; new pizza place-taven in a new building on 56th, a candy store and a pizza shop in the Montego Bay shopping center. My buddy Deckland is opening up Sliante (sp?) in a few months next to Harris Teeter. My buddy Dave is expanding OC Crabs (63rd Bayside) to have an indoor dining room where Sunshine House is. So there are some definate changes in store for next season.

Where is the Harris Teeter? Is it the same Deckland who bartended at High Stakes for a bit? Used to see him there and he was a cool, good bartender.

That's the one, he was at Croc's and Scotty's Bayside before then.

Harris Teeter is at the intersection of Route 54 and Route 20, near the entrance of the community Bayside. A couple miles west of Smitty McGee's.

All I could think of was Bootsy's pit beef stand on Rt. 26 in Ocean View, Del. My father-law would have been devastated if that placed closed down.

Booty's in OC didn't last very long. With a name like that you'd think they would have been making porn movies and not Cowboyz Whor....I mean Smokehouse.
