At this 24-hour rockfish tournament, prizes will be awarded for heaviest rockfish, flounder, trout, tautog and in the open category. The tourney will conclude with an awards banquet around a bonfire and pig roast on the beach at Fish Tales.

Event season kicks off each year with Ocean City’s annual Springfest, which celebrates the arrival of another summer season, then escalates quickly in May and June with the Cruisin’ OC car show, Senior Week, which celebrates our recenthigh school graduates with month of activities hosted by Play it Safe, and the widely popular OC Air Show, which brings the top military and civilian flight teams to the beach.
July is headlined by Ocean City’s iconic July 4th celebrations which include free fireworks and concerts at the north and south ends of town.
August in Ocean City brings the return of the multi-million dollar White Marlin Open, which attracts anglers from across the globe and is the largest billfishing tournament in the world.
As summer winds down, festival season picks up in Ocean City, as Sunfest, Bike Week, the Endless Summer Cruisin’ Car Show and OC-toberfest give plenty of reason for a fall trip to the beach. And when winter finally arrives, Ocean City celebrates with the award-winning Winterfest of Lights extravaganza.

Get lost in a giant Halloween beach maze at this free event. The maze is open to all ages, although there will be witches, ghouls and zombies walking around, so prepare to be spooked! Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays, October 21-22 and 28-29.
All pets are welcome at the Howl-O-Ween Parade! Bring them along in costume or just watch the festivally-spirited animals parade down the boardwalk. Prizes will be awarded. The event is free, but donations of money or pet supplies are welcome and will benefit the Worcester County Humane Society. Registration begins at 12 p.m. before the parade.
