This Annual Benefit Gala is sponsored by the SGPC, an organization whose mission is to be a safe haven of support for women (and men) whose lives have been interrupted by unplanned pregnancy.
Welcome reception begins at 5:30 pm. with light hors d’oeuvres, and at 6:30 pm. you will be seated to enjoy a scrumptious dinner planned and prepared by former Chef of the Year, Gary Leach. Dinner will also have a Live show and program at 7pm followed by live DJ music and dancing.

The Painting Experience (instruction provided by TC Studios) is open to anyone, no painting experience required, and is always a fun and relaxing evening as you are taken step by step through the painting process, ending with quality artwork you can take home with you, all in aid of a great cause.
Worcester County Humane Society annual fun event - walk-a-thon on the boards! All proceeds benefit the Ocean City area's no-kill pet shelter. Bring your pet for a fun day on the boards to help the animals or adopt a shelter dog for the day by making arrangements prior to the walk-a-thon. Registration fee. 8am - 12pm, rain or shine!
Half Marathon runners start at the beautiful Assateague Island and finish their 13.1 miles in the historic Ocean City Inlet overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and white sandy beaches. 5K runners run on the historic Ocean City Boardwalk, finishing in the same location as the Half Marathon runners.
It’s a flat, fast, fun and beautiful bike ride on rural roads that wind through the Pocomoke Forest and local farms.
Not only is the Iron Furnace Fifty a fun ride for the family, all proceeds benefit Furnace Town Living Heritage Village and Rotary Club of Snow Hill. It's a great way to have fun while supporting two local nonprofit organizations that are doing good in our community.
The Lyme Disease Awareness 5K is a fundraising event providing information and prevention while educating the public about the short and long term effects of an illness that is indemic in Worcester County. The Lyme Disease Awareness 5K will begin and end on the boardwalk at the south west end of the boards and Inlet parking lot. Registration, stage, and festivities will be set up adjacent to the south west tram station.
This event is a memorial event for those who have lost their mother and to honor all mothers on this day. Headquarters will be at The Abbey Burger Bistro. Packet pick-up and registration will be held at The Abbey Burger Bistro on Sunday, May 14, 2017, from 7:30am to 8:15am. The event will start and end at Northside Park. The run will take runners through the Montego Bay development and back through the park for the finish.
Delmarva's Largest Greek Festival will offer all things Greek - from lunch and dinner, to shopping and dancing! Tthe Roland E. Powell Convention Center will be transformed into a place for "All things Greek", feeding and entertaining thousands of Delmarva tourists and local families alike. Real Greek Coffee and a huge selection of Greek cookies and Baklava pastries will be available, as well as hot bowls of fresh loukoumathes and rice puddings. Watch the Greek dancers
