Yes, it is sad, that with the economy the way it is,,,renters dont charge a litle less just to rent their places. I am sure we that do go down, will find a lot of places have raised their prices. This will just force us to stay in and eat meals instead of patronizing restaurants. The beach is still free to enjoy!!

I'm heading down 5/2-5/4 to take my 13 year-old son golfing. I went to set up some times and holy cow, Glen Riddle has no junior rate and wants $149 per person? Most of the others are asking over $100. I asked if they were almost booked and none of them were. I've seen this around here in my area-either the rates will eventually drop or the courses will go bankrupt. I just don't get it. There are tons of rental units that will potentially sit empty this summer due to increasing fuel prices and overpriced rental rates. Now overpriced golf. It may end up being cheaper to just drive to Myrtle Beach for a week in the summer. It's getting depressing.
