For being young, go to the Buckingham or Executive. The Buckingham is on 14th and oceanside, perfect location for beach week, no pool though, they have a huge porch that is the length of the building to chill on. We sat out there and drank(descretely) and chilled. But the Executive is bigger and open. NO DRINKING there, they are especially strict on that. I got away with it because my fiance is a cop, but a group was kicked out for drinking in the middle of the night.

Try going on shorepro.com and look for condo's. We used them last year. We got a condo on ocean block for $800 for the week. It was great. Just some FYI Shorepro has great places for great prices, but their customer service is terrible!

Is that a serious question?

check out the shoreham on 4th st. they have all different sized rooms, are reasonably priced (esp for location and cleanliness). the rooms are old but the furniture is updated, you can use the pool at tidelands caribbean which is right next door, shenanigans is right underneath, and i wouldn't say they're too strict about being loud. they also have some adjoining rooms, so if you're bringing a lot of people those might be a good idea.

Ahhhhh Senior Week. A week of freedom and fun..... :D

I remember my Senior Week back in 1997...

Me and 6 of my friends went together and got an appartment from Jocelyn Manor, I think its on 8 or 9th street. Back then it was privately owned and small but nice. Now its owned by a reality company and modernized which means the rates are probably sky high. :( I think we paid 140 bucks a peice for a whole week. That included the security depost. :o

For now...if you are a junior...wait until your Senior year...you will treasure it more. :D

And about cheap lodging...sorry cant help ya out...I guess I was just reminincing. :)

I know NOTHING about the Carousel Hotel/Condo on approx. 117th street but I do know that they rent to "Senior Week" kids. My twin nieces and 13 or their friends are going there this Sunday and that is where they are staying. My sister made the reservations for the girls and told hotel/condo that they were all 17 or 18 yrs. old.....thought she should tell the truth...just in case. She said they were very nice while making the reservations. I think each room is going to have 5 girls in it and for 5 nights each girl is paying a total of $85. In my eyes, that's pretty cheap! Have a great time! (Get ready for a TON of kids (18 yr olds). We were there last year during one of the two weeks of senior week and it's wall-to-wall kids on the boardwalk at night. Didn't deter us though (we're in our late 30's with a 7 yr. old daughter)we are going back again....same time....but we are staying at the Holiday Inn Suites on 17th Street which I would doubt very much would rent to kids)
