I don't think it is necessarily a par 3, but Pine Shore Golf near Ocean Pines is a short course with mostly par 3's and a few 4's. I don't think you need woods to play the course. It consists of three 9 hole courses, and you can put two together to make it 18. Haven't played in a few years, but it is a lot of fun. Nicely cared for, relatively short and fun for beginners or people who don't golf often.
I'm not much of a golfer, but I play Pine Shore North every year on my annual golf trip to OC. I definitely recommend it for golfers who are just looking to have a good round at a fairly basic course. It is as Montegoman described, a nice, short course that is great for the casual golfer and for beginners. My son and his friend each played their first round ever there and it worked out quite well. The people who work there are very nice and the course is very affordable. It is never too crowded which is also nice for novice golfers. Its sister course, Pine Shore South, unfortunately closed a few years ago. It was also a short course, but with a bit more water. It had some beautiful views of the back bays.
Just returned from a rain soaked (flood) week....played Ocean Resorts GC near OP....A nice course that is bound to get better under new MGT. Rates do not change every 3 hours like some! Got 18 in Wed. AM before deluge(s). Sit for next three days. Snuck in Assateague Greens Sat. AM and played Salt Ponds GC in N. Bethany that PM...a real nice par 61 course. Dining report to follow....please get me off Jr. Member status.

Can I get any comments on par 3 courses.....so far, I've dug up Assetegue Greens and Bethany Bay. I'd appreciate any insight.
