I have stayed at Oceana II this summer and loved it! It was an oceanfront corner unit so every room in the condo had oceanfront view. The private balconies are nice too, with plenty of room for 8 people to hang out. The master bedroom in our unit was huge with a king sized bed and wall-to-wall windows on the ocean front side and ocean front views on each of the side walls. We enjoyed using the pool almost every day and having two parking spaces helped when we had guests from out of town. The location was great for us; very family oriented without the crowds of the boardwalk or highrise locations.
The unit was completely renovated this year, new paint, carpets, and appliances. With all the convenience including washer dryer, dishwasher, wireless Internet, large flatscreen TVs in every room complete with cable, DVD and game units, we felt like we were at home. We also appreciated the central A/C and the fact that the condenser was in the hallway so you didn't have to listen to the noise of the A/C unit while it was running. Also they provided linens to guests that agreed to wash them before they left.
We rented it through VRBO and the owners were great! They were always available for questions and had written a 14 page booklet on information about the unit and who to call if there are problems with the unit (they had contracted with a 24-hour emergency service company). The rental price for the unit was significantly less than if we went to a rental agent, plus no taxes or fees AND we received our full security deposit one week after check-out.
We highly recommend staying at Oceana II and will definitely be back next year.
